During its one-hour special, HGTV Dream Home 2012, on January 2, 2012, HGTV unveiled the gorgeous home to giveaway lovers. The home that is located on the banks of Provo River in Midway, Utah and can be viewed as a 360-degree virtual tour at HGTV.com.
This year HGTV also launched the Dream Home app for the iPad owners which is available at the Apple App Store. This free app let you watch incredible 360-degree tours and also includes videos and photo galleries of the last five HGTV Dream Homes in fantastic locales including Stowe, Vermont and Sonoma, California.
The HGTV Dream Home 2012 is situated in Midway, Utah, near Deer Valley and Park City, where the well-known Sundance Film Festival takes place. Giveaway participants will appreciate the location and style of this large, 4,000 square foot two-story house with beautiful mountain views. The interior of the HGTV Dream Home 2012 consists of three bedrooms, four and a half baths, an equipped gourmet chef kitchen and an entertainment room. That’ being said, the Dream Home 2012 is in an ideal location for Utah skiing in the winter. During other seasons, there is water sports, hiking, fly fishing and hunting, mountain biking and golf.
